TellAcross was built to make real-time multilingual conversation as natural as talking to someone who speaks your language.
There are over 7,000 languages spoken on Earth. Yet most of the tools people use to communicate — video calls, customer support, telemedicine — assume everyone speaks the same one.
The existing solutions are either expensive (professional interpreters at $50–200/hr), clunky (plugin-heavy add-ons to existing platforms), or inaccurate (machine translation that misses context and nuance).
TellAcross is built from the ground up as a real-time voice translation platform — not a translator bolted onto a video call. Every decision, from the audio pipeline to the translation routing to the voice synthesis, is made with one question in mind: does this make the conversation feel more natural?
Four principles that guide every decision we make.
A mistranslation in a business deal, a medical consultation, or a legal hearing can have serious consequences. We build for accuracy first, speed second — and refuse to ship features that compromise either.
Your conversations are yours. Audio is processed in real time and never stored or logged. We designed the architecture this way from day one — not as an afterthought.
Language barriers disproportionately affect people who can't afford professional interpreters. TellAcross starts free and stays affordable — because communication is a right, not a luxury.
A two-second lag breaks a conversation. We obsess over latency because the quality of communication depends on it feeling natural — and natural means fast.
TellAcross started with a simple frustration: watching a business meeting grind to a halt every time someone needed to stop and translate. The person translating loses the thread. The conversation loses momentum. Everyone in the room feels the friction.
The answer shouldn't require hiring an interpreter, installing a plugin, or switching platforms. It should be as simple as sharing a link. The translation should happen in the background — fast enough that nobody thinks about it.
We built TellAcross to be that answer. A product where the technology disappears and the conversation stays central. Where you speak your language, and the person across the call hears theirs — instantly, naturally, without any of the friction that makes existing solutions feel like compromises.
We'd love to hear from you — whether it's a question, a partnership, or feedback.
