Pricing questions answered

What counts as a "minute"?+
One call minute = one minute where at least one participant is actively speaking and being translated. Silence, muted time, and join/leave time don't count against your limit.
What happens when I run out of minutes?+
Translation pauses and you'll see a notification. Your call doesn't drop. You can buy a top-up pack instantly from your billing page, and translation resumes without rejoining.
How do top-up packs work?+
Top-up packs are one-time purchases. They add minutes directly to your account and stack on top of your monthly plan. Top-up minutes are valid for 90 days from purchase date.
Can I add more seats to a Business plan?+
Yes — additional seats are $16/seat/month, prorated and billed immediately. You manage seats from your billing dashboard. Each seat gets access to the shared monthly minute pool.
Do you offer regional pricing (India, Southeast Asia)?+
Yes — we charge in local purchasing power for India and Southeast Asia. Contact us or look for local pricing when you sign up from those regions.
Do you offer discounts for NGOs or education?+
Yes. Verified non-profits, educational institutions, and open-source projects get 50% off Pro. Contact info@tellacross.com with your credentials.
Is annual billing available?+

Can I get a refund if the service doesn't work for me?+
Yes — Pro and Business subscribers can request a prorated refund within 7 days of their most recent charge. The refund covers the unused portion of your plan minutes. For example, if you used 20 of 80 Pro minutes, you'd receive $14.25 back ($19 × 60/80). Submit a request from your Billing page after logging in. Top-up minute packs are non-refundable.
